Get bread in Freedom

You can pick up bread at the bakehouse in South Freedom if you have preordered it on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. This is not a retail location and we cannot accommodate drop-ins. Please aim to get your orders in by Sunday evening!

Get bread in Waterville

We are happy to hold any bread for our Waterville Farmers’ Market customers. Pick up any time during market hours, 2pm-6pm. If you are planning to get a large amount of bread, it is always helpful for us to know ahead of time! You can preorder anything we usually bring to market (the same as the Thursday list above).

Payment and Policies

You will receive payment directions, as well as directions of where to pick up, when you place your order. We accept cash, check, or Venmo.
Life is busy and chaotic, and we know that pickups can get forgotten occasionally. We will contact you via email if you miss it to arrange another time and location for you to pick up your bread. If no suitable arrangement can be reached, we will ask you to pay for the missed order before you can place another one.

Email us directly at vesperbread (at) gmail (dot) com. Tell us what you want, where and when you’ll pick up, and what name we should write on your bags. A real live human bean will respond with the rest of the information you need to make payment and find your loaves.

FAQ

Can you mail me bread?

No, as a very small business with only one full-time person, we do not have capacity to handle shipping.

Can I place a preorder for pickup at another location?

We are not willing to ask our amazing wholesale partners to manage preorder pickups at their locations. They are extremely busy small business owners and do not have capacity or time to do us or our customers any extra favors. If you are in our vicinity and would like to organize a local pickup option, let’s talk! We would be happy to add an option within ~30 minutes of Freedom or between Freedom and Dresden.
