Schwarzbrot

This dense, hearty German-style rye bread has organic rye flour, rye malt, organic barley malt, and a dash of whole wheat to round out the flavor. Slice it thin and toast it for cheese and radishes, kippers and pickles, or a hearty PB & jam sandwich. Keeps for weeks in a bag in the fridge. Just like everything we make, the ingredients are all Maine-grown and milled, and 100% naturally leavened.
