Snell Family Farm Tomato Festival

On August 24th, we got to be at Snell Family Farm’s inaugural Tomato Festival down in Bar Mills, Maine! Carolyn organized a great group of vendors with tomato and tomato-adjacent goods and treats, and the farm store was open with high summer produce and a build-your-own-bouquet bar. Danny made some extra special bread on top of our usual market offerings, including olive batards, double dilly rye, rosemary polenta boules, and XXXL miche. We sold more bread in a single day than we ever have before! Although Snell Farm is two hours away from our bakery here in Freedom. we were thrilled to be part of the day and hope to join that crowd of cool cats again sometime.
